This was probably one of our first major challenging contracts, seeing us move into major construction with the inclusion of:
- The installation and backfill of 5 no. 40+ metre long Tubosider Bolted Plated Culverts measuring 4m wide x 3.6m high.
- The construction of Rove Gill Retaining Wall which is some 85m Long and 25m high and constructed using a 'mechanically stabilised earth wall' (MSE Wall)
- The installation of a Box Culvert to carry an existing stream beneath the new carriageway, which had to be controlled and diverted to allow the installation to take place.
